We are seeking a highly motivated and
- oriented Product Counsel to join our legal team. Reporting to the Senior Product & Privacy Counsel, you'll provide legal support across a range of
- tech products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will collaborate closely with
- functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to help product development and deployment strategies. Strong project and stakeholder management skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Guidance: Provide proactive legal advice on a variety of issues related to product development and deployment, including regulatory compliance, data protection regulations, and health regulations.
2. Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates.
3. Privacy & Data Protection: Support the Privacy Counsels to draft Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new product launches or features.
4. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide effective legal solutions.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and work with the Senior Product Counsel to develop corrective action plans. Assist with internal audits related to product compliance.
6. Continuous Learning & Research: Stay informed of the evolving legal landscape in the EU health, AI, and Privacy that affect products. Share learnings and insights with the legal team and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Legal Expertise: 1-3 years working in a similar role in the tech sector. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data protection (especially GDPR), and health regulations, with the ability to provide proactive legal advice.
2. Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates.
3. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with
   - functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations.
4. Analytical and Risk Management Abilities: Ability to identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks, and collaborate on developing corrective action plans.
5. Continuous Learning and Research: Keen interest in staying updated on the evolving legal landscape in the EU, particularly in
   - tech, AI, and privacy, and effectively communicating these insights to the team.
