The Product Design Lead, Consumer Facing at Agoda is responsible for
As the Design Lead for our Consumer-Facing Products, you will shape and execute the vision for accommodation funnels that engage customers. You will guide a team of designers, collaborating with product stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences, and foster an environment where innovative solutions thrive. You will help streamline the booking process on Agoda so users can easily find and book accommodations.
You will balance
- centric design with business objectives, advocate for the user while aligning design work with overarching goals and KPIs. You will influence beyond design, championing user and business needs to drive
- leading UX solutions for Agoda’s accommodation products.
Join us in creating experiences that redefine consumer engagement and satisfaction in the travel industry.
Day to day
- Manage scope of work for your team and determine how to divide work among designers.
- Lead design strategy for complex initiatives and grow design leaders.
- Drive alignment of design work with business objectives and core product initiatives.
- Ensure successful execution by surfacing and addressing questions, bottlenecks, dependencies, and conflicts with stakeholders.
- Maintain and apply a process for effective design.
- Build a healthy,
- performing team; hire designers as needed and foster a positive culture. - Coach and mentor direct reports to grow their competencies and careers.
- Lead projects to define and sell a coherent

Product Design Lead – qualifications and qualities
- Proven track record in leading design strategy for complex initiatives and growing design leaders.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity with soft skills to persuade and align senior leaders around a vision and approach.
- Holistic thinking to identify customer experience opportunities with impact across the organization.
- Experience partnering with a design leadership team to shape management practices and mentor other leaders.
- Incorporation of advancements in product design to guide team skills and practices.
- Understanding of current native technologies and design patterns to guide your team.
