We are currently hiring a Product Designer to join our I&E HUB in Lisbon.

Autonomous vehicles and their ecosystem are key areas in MAN's strategy and those of our partners. Alongside digitalization and electrification, they form the foundation of our future product lineup.

To manage, monitor, and assist
- driving vehicles on the road, we need a cloud system that connects and aggregates data from various sources. This system enables the operation of autonomous commercial vehicle fleets from a central location by processing the right data at the right time and place. This facilitates our customers' use of autonomous vehicles (AVs) in an easy and
- effective manner. We seek passionate individuals to help develop these core components and build an autonomous future.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Define requirements, concepts, and solutions related to a Driver-as-a-Service (Daa
  S) solution for autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product management, systems engineering, and development teams to ensure cohesive product development and an evolving product landscape.
• Work closely with the product owner to analyze scope and break down requirements into epics and user stories.
• Coordinate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of concepts and address related issues.
• Identify the need for workshops, facilitate them, and analyze the outcomes, presenting next steps.
• Conduct user research with customer representatives to gather requirements and develop concepts that integrate seamlessly with customer logistics and ecosystems.
• Present concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design process.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automated driving technologies to inform design decisions.
• Ensure concepts comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Proactively solve problems and overcome obstacles by seeking innovative and pragmatic solutions, demonstrating a
  - oriented approach.

What requirements are we looking for?

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in product conception and design, preferably in complex software systems within an international context (experience in logistics, transport, or telematics is an advantage).
• Proficiency in UX design methods, both theoretical and practical.
• Experience in conducting independent user research to understand customer needs and inform design decisions.
• Confidence in requirements analysis and translating them into user stories or tasks.
• Experience leading
  - oriented discovery phases and transforming
  - level ideas into validated requirements; knowledge of Design Thinking is beneficial.
• Experience in preparing, conducting, and evaluating stakeholder workshops to gain insights and resolve issues.
• Strong analytical
  - solving skills.
• Industry knowledge in automotive and transportation sectors is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with
  - functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
• Experience with the SAFE framework is a plus.
