ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Strong foundation in design fundamentals such as typography, Gestalt principles, visual hierarchy, color theory, composition, and grid systems.
• Ability to defend and justify UX decisions made throughout the process
• Identify new product improvement opportunities.
• Organization and preparation of user testing sessions.
• Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
• Experience analyzing results and translation of those results to improve interaction flows usability.
• Perform benchmarks and seeks to update itself with the best practices of the market and competitors.
• Elevate the quality of the product and the team with quality and elegant visual design.
• Understand information architecture concepts and interaction design theories, such as heuristics.
• Build handoff documentation.
• Deliver
  - fidelity prototypes for
  - complexity flows.

Nice to have

• Have a deep understanding of interaction principles, such as usability and accessibility.
• Use motion design in the interface to guide users, create an emotional layer, and highlight state/flow changes.

Technical skills:

• Sense of leadership and organization;
  
  
• Analytical mindset, ability to analyze business requirements and organize information;
  
  
• Experience in mapping interaction flows;
  
  
• Creation of wireframes and interactive prototypes;
  
  
• Experience designing interfaces for responsive websites and mobile applications;
  
  
• Organization and preparation of user testing sessions;
  
  
• Ability to substantiate and justify decisions made throughout the process;
  
  
• Fluency in English;
  
  
• Training in Design, Ergonomics, Management, Strategy, Marketing, Psychology or related areas.
