About the Role

We’re expanding our product team to accelerate the growth of Bob Finance within the broader Bob HR ecosystem. We’re hiring a Product Manager for Data Ingest and Connectors to join our new Lisbon development team.

In this hands‑on IC role, you’ll work closely with local engineers and cross‑regional stakeholders to own how data enters Bob Finance. You’ll ensure successful onboarding of the HR, payroll, finance, and operational data needed to power analytics, planning, and upcoming AI capabilities.

This is a high‑impact, technical role essential to deepening cross‑product integration, supporting new markets and industries, and strengthening the data foundation that drives Bob Finance forward.

About You

• You’re technically fluent, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working closely with engineering teams.

• You can define schemas, clarify API behaviors, and map data flows, while translating this work for non‑technical stakeholders.

• You thrive in a hybrid, collaborative environment and can work effectively across time zones.

Job Requirements

• 4–8 years of product management experience, including 2+ years in Saa
  S.
• Experience with data platforms, integrations, or data engineering‑adjacent products.
• Hands‑on experience with data connectors or ingestion frameworks.
• Strong understanding of:
  • REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, rate limits
  • Data mapping, transformations, schema evolution, validation
  • Data quality frameworks (lineage, dedupe, anomaly detection)
• Excellent communication skills; able to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with remote teammates across time zones.

Job Responsibilities

• Own product definition for data ingestion, connectors, and APIs powering Bob Finance.
• Work closely with the Lisbon dev team to break down requirements, clarify edge cases, and drive execution.
• Prioritize and deliver new data connectors (HR, payroll, ERP, finance, accounting).
• Conduct discovery with customers, partners, and system integrators to understand integration needs.
• Collaborate with PMs across Bob Finance and Hi
  Bob to align on ecosystem‑wide standards.
• Support AI initiatives that require richer and more reliable input data.
