About The Role

We announced Cloudflare Workers in 2017 — since then it’s played a key role in Cloudflare’s strategy for entering the compute market. Workers has grown from a simple

-
- service option into a complete
- stack platform — and with this comes the need to support a broader set of Runtime APIs.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the strategy and roadmap for Java
  Script APIs in the Cloudflare Workers Runtime
• Lead new APIs from ideation through launch, and continuing through ongoing maintenance and support
• Guide teams both internal and external on developing new Java
  Script APIs in Workers
• Develop and nurture key external relationships with
  - source maintainers
• Partner with other departments to drive adoption with and gather feedback from customers and prospects
• Ruthlessly prioritize across a complex environment of diverse customers, stakeholders and objectives
• Represent the company externally as needed

Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Proven track record of shipping
  - facing products from ideation to launch
• Strong knowledge of Java
  Script, the NPM ecosystem, and web standards
• Developer focus — you’ll be working directly, and often be a part of the customers team in helping them get their initial implementation off the ground
• Strong technical abilities
• A desire to sweat the details and ship great developer experiences
• A love for talking to developers at organizations both large and small on a daily basis
