This application track is for a product management position at Canonical focused on Hardware Certifications. We are hiring a Product Manager for Hardware Certification. Ubuntu is the world's favorite Linux, used globally by developers. Canonical offers products and services addressing key challenges in software development and deployment. This role offers an opportunity for a technology leader to:

1. Lead the Hardware Certification roadmap and partnerships with OEMs
2. Shape development plans with engineering teams
3. Define future business models considering the competitive landscape
4. Engage with the Ubuntu community, partners, OEMs, and customers to enable success and market growth

The role involves product leadership and

- market strategy, translating vision into plans and launches. Our product managers are software engineering professionals aspiring to business leadership, involved in strategy, development, engagement, and open source advocacy. They oversee the entire product lifecycle, blending technical and strategic skills to meet user needs and business goals.

Location: Remote in the EMEA region, with expected regional residence.

The role entails:

1. Leading product development and setting priorities
2. Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams
3. Addressing project challenges and aligning on priorities
4. Conducting market research and analyzing trends
5. Communicating vision, updates, and decisions
6. Performing usability tests and iterating products
