The Work You’ll Do
In this high‑impact role, you will work closely with ISV and embedded partners, senior leaders, and cross‑functional teams to understand partner ecosystem needs. You will use partner feedback, industry insights, and data to inform the long‑term strategic roadmap, ensuring embedded solutions integrate seamlessly and deliver value to end customers.
Product Managers serve as the “voice of the product” to stakeholders (marketing, sales, operations, GTM leaders) and as the “voice of the customer” to product and development teams. You will build and manage a product roadmap, prioritize backlogs, and drive delivery of key features and compliance updates.
As a supervisor, your team will consist of Business Analysts and Product Owners. You will share expertise, coach, and foster a collaborative environment.
More Specifically, You Will
- Lead a team managing a large segment of the Sovos product portfolio, focusing on ISV and embedded partner solutions
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open exchange of ideas and diverse viewpoints
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for our embedded product suite, enabling partner integration
- Leverage market problems and opportunities for thousands of customers and partners
- Support growth and development of your team through coaching and career planning
- Develop deep understanding of ISV/embedded buyer and user base to ensure value delivery
- Manage definition and execution of the product roadmap
- Leverage Sovos’ industry expertise in strategy execution
- Ensure optimal execution through Agile Development, defining Release Plans, epics, and backlog oversight
- Facilitate buy/build/partner decisions
- Contribute to marketing and GTM plans, identifying key initiatives and growth opportunities within the partner ecosystem
- Develop and track KPIs highlighting product adoption and user falloff
What We Need From You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of product‑management experience, especially in agile environments; experience leading direct reports is a plus
- Background launching B2B products with product‑led adoption and self‑service help tools (Pendo or Zen
Desk experience a plus) - Experience working with ISV partners, embedded solutions, or API‑driven products
- Detail‑oriented and extremely organized; proven ability to set priorities and deliver results
- Strong communication skills
- Solid decision‑making skills amid imperfect data
- Ability to work individually and within cross‑functional teams
- Capability of interfacing with senior leaders and C‑level personnel internally and with partners
- Demonstrated initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results and growth
- High self‑awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
