Product Manager Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner, to Lead and Mentor a team of PO, in Porto or Lisbon area.

Our client is Portugal’s largest issuer of credit cards, serving over 1 million customers, and will soon operate as a licensed digital bank.

We are seeking for a Manager of Product Owners to lead the team shaping our
- generation financial products.

This is a strategic leadership role for someone who deeply understands how banking products work—from commercial models to operational flows—and can connect that knowledge with technical execution.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners across cards, loans, and internal platforms
• Act as the
  - to expert on product functionality, business value, and operational impact
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to
  - design smart, scalable solutions
• Support agile,
  - driven product development without enforcing rigid process
• Translate business strategy into clear, buildable product direction
• Have a
  - impact role with real ownership and leadership visibility

Requirements

• Academic background in Economics, Management, Engineering or similar
• Experience with banking/financial products (cards, loans, payments, etc. )
• Technical fluency and experience in agile product environments
• Clear goals, energy and resilience
• Great communication skills and stakeholder managemen
