About the Role

As a Product Manager at Cloudflare, you are responsible for building products that improve the way that the Internet works. Product Managers sit at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. You will shape
- level product goals, pitch concepts to senior leadership, create launch plans with marketing, collaborate with designers on user research, prototype features, iterate on specifications, analyze usage data, and work with engineers on implementation. You will understand client needs, influence business strategy, define feature specifications, and partner with engineering to develop software.

As a Product Manager within the Application Performance team, you will own a part of the platform that ensures web properties, applications, and networks are fast, reliable, and intelligent. This portfolio includes CDN optimization, Origin Shielding,
- latency application delivery, and
- facing data products built on
- world usage. You will set the strategic direction for reducing latency and providing an authoritative source of truth on performance for applications across Cloudflare’s global network.

Responsibilities

• Own your space by prioritizing scope and partnering with a
  - performing engineering team focused on one of Cloudflare’s Application Performance products.
• Act as a nerve center, connecting engineering, program management, marketing, revenue, and partners to ensure timely, impactful product delivery.
• Collaborate across teams to prioritize systemic improvements that meet the needs of enterprise customers.
• Engage directly with customers to understand usage and feed insights back to the roadmap.
• Work with data to quantify problems and opportunities and inform decisions.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, solutions engineering, or related roles
• Experience designing or contributing to
  - forming product experiences
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs to measure impact
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and design teams
• Ability to operate in
  - paced, evolving environments
• Customer empathy and a focus on delivering
  - centric solutions
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Curiosity and a desire to learn technical topics, especially in security or observability
• Engineering fluency or a technical background; building credibility with engineering teams is important

Bonus Points

• Experience as a Product Manager for Edge infrastructure,
  - performance web delivery, or network optimization
• Experience delivering cloud infrastructure products at global scale
• Data fluency to work with data directly to support views and persuade others
