Product Management

The Product Management department is responsible for defining and managing digital product portfolio, our products serve different audiences across the globe and currently are in different stages of their life cycles. Our products have a direct impact on helping visionary governments shape educational transformation for children around the globe.

The mission of our department is to serve as user advocates, enablers of innovation, and reliable partners for our tech and academic teams.

About The Role

We are an international, passionate team with locations across the globe, all working together to help children in underserved communities gain access to quality education. Our digital portfolio is a set of software solutions that enable governments and communities to shape and
- shape educational systems in an evidence driven manner.

This role will be part of the Product Management team and the Technology group, reporting to the Director of Product Management and closely collaborating with our Engineering and Design teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to make your own mark within our organisation quickly. You will be a trailblazer who will fully own their portfolio, its vision and strategy. We are passionate about solving meaningful problems and looking for Product Managers that can help us scale and innovate our portfolio of products.

You will work closely with our software, design, and academic teams on building product concepts, then bringing them to market, ensuring strong product
- fit as well as strong differentiation strategy.

What You Will Do

• Work with functional leads in other departments to shape the vision and requirements for various products in our portfolio
• Gain deep understanding of our users, identifying feature gaps and enhancement opportunities, both through direct user feedback and also through observation and measurement.
• Partner with Engineering teams to deliver within quick
  -
  - market and optimal resources
• Communicate product plans and results with your team and key stakeholders
• Establish and track success metrics for products being managed
• Translate market insights into opportunities for product enhancements or new product opportunities
• Collaborate with Learning & Development department to shape enablement materials, occasionally taking on the role of the product trainer
  
  

Skills

• 3+ years experience working in product management or product operations function
• Proven track record of managing at least one product through whole product lifecycle
• Ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Experience working closely with engineering and design teams
• Experienced in driving different stages of product life cycle – research, definition prototyping, development and testing, launch, and continuous improvement
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
