About The Role

You’ll be responsible for two of Cloudflare’s most critical database infrastructure products: Workers KV and Hyperdrive. KV is a globally distributed
- value store enabling extremely high read volume workloads and
- latency retrievals. Hyperdrive is a distributed connection pooler and query caching service that supports querying Postgres and My
SQL databases directly from Cloudflare Workers. This role has high agency and accountability: you’ll be the sole PM for the products and will work closely with peers across the team to ship great developer experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the strategy, roadmap and ship great products that help developers build reliable, high performance
  - stack applications on Cloudflare.
• Lead projects from ideation through launch and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and nurture relationships with engineering and coordinate to ensure successful delivery of features.
• Talk to developers to understand needs, using BI tools to identify cohorts, engaging on developer forums and communities.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Marketing, Community & Developer Relations, Sales, and Customer Support to drive adoption and gather feedback.
• Prioritize across a complex environment of diverse customers and stakeholders.
• Represent the company externally as needed, including meetings with customers and prospects and analysis.
• Perform market research to drive new investment opportunities in the developer space.

Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills; able to work with diverse groups and drive product forward.
• Execution-focused with attention to important details; a passion for shipping great
  -
  - end developer experiences (APIs, UIs, docs).
• Proven track record of shipping
  - facing products from ideation to launch.
• Experience talking to developers at organizations of various sizes to build real solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with transactional databases and desire to become a domain expert in the space.
• Focus on the developer; work directly with customers to help with initial implementations.
• BS/MS in a technology field and 3-4 years of professional product management experience or equivalent.
• Strong technical abilities; comfortable with modern software development practices and understanding engineering decisions’ impact on the product.
• Experience using developer tools and familiarity with CLI tools; programming experience (Java
  Script/Type
  Script, Rust, Go, etc. ) and/or SQL dialects.

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

• Bay Area: Estimated annual salary of $166, 000 - $224, 000
• New York City, Washington, DC, and California (excluding Bay Area): Estimated annual salary of $192, 000 - $213, 000

Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
