Product Owner - Customer Portal

IT House is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Owner to join a strategic digital transformation project in the logistics sector, developed for the German and Austrian markets.

The Challenge

You will be responsible for managing a B2B customer portal, the central online channel for information and support related to parcel shipping services. This portal plays a fundamental role in our client's digital transformation:

• Leading the replacement of legacy systems and designing a new technological foundation
• Driving the conception and implementation of innovative and digital processes, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and business customers

As Product Owner, you will bring the product vision and strategy to life, driving it forward together with an agile, international team!

Key Responsibilities

• Ideation and validation of new features with business stakeholders and customers
• Create and deliver
  - driven Product Roadmap in close collaboration with the development team
• Replacement and modernization of legacy systems
• Continuous alignment and collaboration with other product teams across the organization
• Championing agile principles and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Ideal Profile

• A value creation mindset focused on delivering tangible benefits to business customers
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally with a focus on digital platforms,
  - commerce portals, or
  - facing applications
• Experience with heterogeneous system landscapes and B2B environments (desirable)
• Technical understanding, especially in frontend development and API integration
• Proficiency in agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Willingness to travel to Germany on a regular basis as needed (approximately 6-8 times a year)
• Curiosity and drive to understand the German and Austrian parcel logistics market
• Excellent communication and soft skills: proactive approach to stakeholders and ability to drive team collaboration
• Language skills: Fluent English (C1) in spoken and written form; German is a plus
• Professional experience in the logistics sector (valued)
