Responsibilities

• Manage Product Backlog: Formulate the list of backlog items and prioritise them as per the critical business objectives.
• Define Sprint Objectives: define the suggested sprint objective which will serve as a base to determine the sprint goal.
• Review and approve the work done by the development team: inspect the product increment in each iteration, from design preparation to production release verification.
• Provide effective communication to stakeholders: act as the central communicator between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise updates and approvals for major decisions and strategies.
• Backlog Refinement: prioritise, enhance, and finalise items with the team before sprint planning.
• Create and Maintain Change Requests Associated with the Product: gather and prioritise operational changes and include them in the Product Backlog for future sprints.
• Define Acceptance Criteria for the product: establish and confirm acceptance criteria with stakeholders; use as a baseline for QA testing.
• Gather Functional and Non-Functional Requirements: ensure requirements meet the Product Manager’s expectations.
• Maintain Requirements: adjust requirements during the project lifecycle as needed in a dynamic environment, reflected at Epic/Story level when changed.
• Verify Requirements: confirm that gathered requirements are fit for purpose.
• Create and Maintain Epics, Stories, Use and Edge Cases: ensure
  - quality content; accountability held by the Product Owner.
• Participate in OKR planning: work with stakeholders on quarterly OKR planning for the product, including estimating achievement.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3 years as a Product Owner or similar role (Business Analyst, System Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst).
• Skills: Requirements lifecycle, product backlog management, product development architecture, API integrations, Scrum and Agile development methodologies, user experience principles; coding and designing is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English; clear verbal and written communication to convey product goals and report insights.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse issues, gather information, and make decisions based on logical conclusions.
• Decision Making, Organisational Skills, Leadership, Conflict Resolution: ability to lead without direct authority, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration.
• Professional Certification: PSPO level 1 or similar is optional.
