Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, present in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Porto and are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development, and Maintenance of Information Systems. What will you be doing?

• Define functional and technical requirements based on business needs, translating complex concepts into clear and actionable specifications for development teams.
• Manage the product backlog, defining priorities and maintaining a structured roadmap for scoring and rating model features and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, and IT teams to ensure model objectives are aligned with internal policies, risk appetite, and compliance standards.
• Participate in model validation, ensuring robustness, performance, and interpretability of scoring and rating outputs.
• Oversee testing and quality assurance, monitoring model performance and supporting technical teams in identifying improvements.
• Define and maintain the delivery roadmap, ensuring timely and incremental releases that deliver measurable business value.
• Prepare and present management reports detailing project progress, risks, dependencies, and proposed solutions, to be shared with the steering committee.
• Promote communication and transparency between all involved teams to ensure common understanding of goals and deliverables.
• Act as a subject matter expert in credit risk modeling, facilitating collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.

What we are looking for?

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in risk management, credit scoring, or
  - driven financial projects.
• Strong understanding of credit risk models (scoring/rating), model lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance (Basel, EBA guidelines, etc. ).
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and backlog management tools (e. g. , JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written (B2);
• Legal residency in Portugal.
