Product Owner – 1 Year Contract (Freelance)

Location: Remote (Portugal)

We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner to join on a freelance, 1-year contract basis. This is a fully remote role based in Portugal, offering the opportunity to work on impactful projects — including a major AWS migration — while driving product strategy and delivery from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Defining and managing the full product lifecycle from concept through delivery and iteration

Translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams

Planning and prioritizing product roadmaps to ensure timely delivery of features and projects

Leading and coordinating efforts in AWS migration projects , ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption

Partnering with business stakeholders to align product goals with organisational strategy

Facilitating communication between technical and business teams to enhance transparency and efficiency

Driving and supporting strategic initiatives to meet business objectives and customer needs

Monitoring product performance and gathering feedback to inform improvements

Acting as the product advocate within the organisation, keeping the vision, goals, and priorities front of mind

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Product Owner in a
- driven environment

Strong understanding of cloud technologies and experience with AWS projects

Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business perspectives

Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a
- paced environment

Fluency in English (spoken and written)
