Responsibilities

• Oversee the IT service portfolio for Research, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic priorities


• Manage and optimize budget, resources, and assets to support business objectives


• Define and communicate IT product scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders


• Develop and maintain the IT product vision, goals, and roadmap


• Collaborate with IT Consultants and Process Owners to create and prioritize user stories


• Validate IT product design and architecture with the IT Service Owner to meet business needs


• Review and approve deliverables, ensuring quality standards and acceptance criteria are met


• Provide ongoing feedback to project teams and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks

Qualifications

• IT professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in international Pharma/Reseach IT


• Masters’ degree or equivalent experience in (business) computer science


• Strong background of processes and data in pharmaceutical research


• Solid knowledge of Pharma research IT solutions, challenges and trends within the industry (e. g. chemical registration & ELN, biology ELN, OMICS data management, NMR/LC/MS data mangement, toxicology data management, data visualization, search, analysis, and workflows)


• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English, German is a plus


• Proven skills in project & product management of large and complex projects and products


• Advanced process management skills combined with proven change management ability


• Open-minded personality, who wants to move things forward iin a team approach


• Strategic thinker, outstanding collaborator and convicing communicator, who always keeps business benefit and quality in mind
