Located in the Greater Porto Area, our industrial unit is in full growth dynamics, with a strong international orientation, and, therefore, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to lead production operations at our catering products manufacturing plant. The Production Manager will oversee daily production activities, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the facility. This role is responsible for maintaining production schedules, optimizing processes, and meeting product quality standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Plan, organize, and manage the daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and safety.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet established quality standards, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and expectations. Troubleshoot issues proactively to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, complying with industry and company standards.
• Inventory Management: Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials are available and waste is minimized.
• Cost Management: Monitor production costs and implement
  - saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present production performance reports to management, analyzing data for trends and operational improvements.
• Sustainability Commitment: Promote and integrate sustainable practices in production operations, including resource optimization, waste reduction, and support for environmentally responsible initiatives.

Profile:

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience within similar roles;
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or catering products.
• English Proficiency (French is a plus);
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance standards;
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate a diverse workforce;
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies;
• Excellent

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
