For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for a Production Planner. The mission of the Production Planner is to plan the production of
- assemblies and finished products manufactured by the Conextivity group’s production sites to meet customer requirements while ensuring efficient and
- effective utilization of resources. The plan must take into account deadlines, priorities, internal and external constraints, and the various production strategies applicable within Conextivity.
The main function of the Production Planner is to coordinate and control all aspects of production, from raw material procurement to final product delivery.
What You Will Do In Your Role
The Production Planner is responsible for planning the production of all
- finished and finished goods assembled on production lines within the plants of the group. The plan must be elaborated in accordance with the production allocation strategy of the group and the standard lead time of the products.
- Process, analyze, and confirm customer orders;
- Ensure that customers’ firm requirements are met on time and in quantity;
- Establish a realistic and optimized production plan;
- Provide visibility to the plants on workload, resource, components, and tools requirements;
- Communicate and coordinate with all the departments and stakeholders involved in carrying out the mission;
- Maintain master data in our ERP up to date;
- Report all blocking and/or risk points that could prevent the mission from being accomplished (escalation);
- Develop and maintain relevant key performance indicators and operations and process monitoring tools;
- Participate in the development of the Company through projects and improvements.
Professional Skills
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:
- Logistics/supply chain engineer or equivalent
- Experience in a similar environment in an international company
- Excellent knowledge of an ERP system (SAP)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- English: Minimum C1 (mandatory)
- French: Minimum B1 (not mandatory)
