For our new plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for a Production Planner. The mission of the Production Planner is to plan the production of
- assemblies and finished products manufactured by the Conextivity group’s production sites to meet customer requirements while ensuring efficient and
- effective utilization of resources. The plan must consider deadlines, priorities, internal and external constraints, and the various production strategies applicable within Conextivity. The main function is to coordinate and control all aspects of production, from raw material procurement to final product delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:
The Production Planner is responsible for planning the production of all
- finished and finished goods assembled on production lines within the group’s plants. The plan must be developed in accordance with the group’s production allocation strategy and the standard lead times of the products.
- Process, analyze, and confirm customer orders;
- Ensure that customers’ firm requirements are met on time and in quantity;
- Establish a realistic and optimized production plan;
- Provide visibility to the plants on workload, resource, components, and tools requirements;
- Communicate and coordinate with all involved departments and stakeholders;
- Maintain master data in our ERP system (SAP) up to date;
- Report all blocking and/or risk points that could prevent the mission’s success (escalation);
- Develop and maintain relevant KPIs and monitoring tools;
- Participate in company development projects and improvements.
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:
Professional skills:
- Logistics/supply chain engineer or equivalent;
- Experience in a similar environment within an international company;
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP);
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook);
- English: minimum C1 (mandatory);
- French: minimum B1 (not mandatory).
