Currently, we have 3 workshops in the north of Portugal, more specifically, in Ponte de Lima, Penafiel and Santa Maria da Feira. We are sharing our interest in integrating a Production Planning and Control Manager (m/f/d) into the Penafiel workshop. We are looking for an experienced (minimum 5 years) and
- oriented Production Planning and Control Manager to lead the Planning and Control team and ensure excellence and efficiency in our production.

Ensuring the smooth operation of the Production Planning and Control department will be your mission, and for this, you will need to:

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, performance, and compliance with delivery deadlines in your area of responsibility.
• Lead the Planning and Control team, ensuring cohesion and achievement of objectives.
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement plans in planning and control processes.
• Contribute to the development of the team's skills by identifying talents and promoting their evolution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the department.
• Coordinate the planning of daily production, optimizing the use of resources.
• Manage the team's training needs.
• Participate in development and improvement projects for production processes.
• Analyze performance indicators for planning and control and propose corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with the team and with other areas of the company (Production, Logistics, Procurement).
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment in the department.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Present regular reports to company management.
• Contribute to the optimization of production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a similar field.
• Solid knowledge of production management, lean manufacturing, and planning and control methodologies.
• Proven experience in managing production planning and control teams (minimum 5 years).
• High ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, teamwork, and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in computer tools (Excel, Power BI, etc. ).
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and make decisions.
