Position Overview

This is a
- time hybrid role for a Foreign Language Teacher (English, Portuguese, French) located in Vila Nova da Cerveira with the flexibility to work from home occasionally. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment. They will teach foreign language courses, adapting methods to suit individual learning needs while staying current with modern teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Portuguese, or French.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
• Use educational technology to facilitate hybrid lesson formats.
• Maintain and update curriculum and lesson plans.

Qualifications

• Expertise in teaching foreign languages such as French, English, or Portuguese.
• Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
• Proficiency with educational tools and technology to deliver hybrid lesson formats.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with
  - level frameworks (such as CEFR) for assessing language proficiency.
