Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program for graduates from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28, to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world. What will be your main missions?

• Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manage supplier RFQ based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers.
• Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyers in supplier negotiations and in the final choice of supplier.
• Track performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the Faurecia PMS.
• Ensure early involvement of the Series Buyers in the program before the series phase.
• Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers.
• Negotiate Engineering Change Requests.
• Lead the global steering and sourcing committee meetings for the program and ensure that the purchasing assumptions are optimized on a global basis, considering local and global sourcing options and selecting the option with the best landed cost and performance.
