Mission of the Role: To drive program procurement towards project health and success.

Key Objectives:

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure cost savings throughout all phases of program development from procurement and supply chain perspectives.
• Generate and screen ideas for
  - effective solutions.
• Influence make vs buy decisions during concept development.
• Conduct costed BOM analysis and provide product development recommendations based on market trends.
• Manage commercialization and industrialization at the regional level.
• Ensure positive business outcomes through effective sales and purchasing strategies.
• Drive price
  - making (PDM) to meet
  - time cost targets at BOM.
• Lead
  - functional sourcing boards to align sourcing strategies and meet project milestones and commercial expectations.
• Engage early in the design process to achieve competitive costs and
  -
  - cost approaches.
• Ensure timely BOM delivery with specifications aligned to market nuances.
• Align with customer group expectations across regions to ensure program profitability.
• Lead localization efforts and develop sourcing strategies considering total landed costs.
• Collaborate with Product Development on
  - friendly design strategies.
• Assess risks and develop resolution plans in coordination with project management teams.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Win new business with competitive BOMs.
• Achieve early
  - based design solutions.
• Execute new product launches flawlessly.
• Enhance profitability and material margins.
• Complete team integration successfully.
• Maintain compliance with Visteon processes and audit standards.
• Support multiple projects in the forward model phase.
• Identify potential improvement items.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred, Electrical Engineering background advantageous.
• 5-7 years of experience in responsible roles within international environments, with procurement/purchasing leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of supply base management and commodity costing.
• Ability to articulate sourcing strategies and risk assessments clearly.
• Proven leadership in
  - functional teams with accountability focus.
• Experience with value chain analysis tools (VAVE, TQCM).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the EV market and suppliers supporting EV product portfolios.
• Ability to manage risk and achieve lowest material costs under tight deadlines.
• Leadership qualities to lead from the front, build strong teams, and market leadership.
• Strong business partnership skills, critical thinking, visionary outlook, resilience, and perseverance.
• Ability to anticipate risks and proactively address them.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the regional lead of Program Procurement.
