Drive Systems is seeking a dynamic,
- driven individual to join as Buyer (M/F/D) at our production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Overview

Role focused on planning, coordinating, and executing product launch activities to ensure timely,
- budget delivery and alignment with
- functional teams and external partners.

Key Accountabilities

• Launch Planning & Coordination: oversee development and execution of detailed launch plans, ensuring activities are completed on time and within budget; collaborate with
  - functional teams to align goals, requirements, and milestones; coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure readiness for launch (procurement, production, logistics).
• Milestone Monitoring & Compliance: track progress against defined milestones and deadlines; identify delays or issues and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
• Problem-Solving & Barrier Management: identify risks and bottlenecks; develop alternative solutions; resolve issues with internal teams and external stakeholders to protect timelines and quality.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination: work with suppliers and external partners to ensure timely provision of materials and services; manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues to avoid project disruptions.
• Communication & Reporting: provide regular progress updates, report milestone achievements and supplier performance, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders about progress and challenges.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, operations management, or a related role in a
  - driven environment.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, especially in launch phases and milestone tracking.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and ability to proactively identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with
  - functional teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies; experience with product launches or
  -
  - market strategies; strong analytical and financial skills for budgeting and performance tracking; fluent in English.
