PROGRAM MANAGER – IT STABILITY & RESILIENCE (HYBRID)
Take advantage of a leading IT stability and resilience program for a Portuguese banking firm based in Lisbon, Portugal. This hybrid role requires you to live in Portugal and manage key initiatives that ensure continuous service availability and operational excellence.
About the role
You will lead cross‑functional programs that enhance reliability and scalability of IT production environments. Responsibilities include governance, incident reduction, performance optimization, monitoring, automation, and risk compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the global IT Stability roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and Production Excellence goals.
- Establish a governance model to track, prioritize, and report initiatives across multiple domains.
- Lead steering committees, ensuring stakeholder alignment, timely decisions, and transparent reporting to senior management.
- Drive initiatives for incident reduction, performance optimization, capacity, and monitoring improvement.
- Implement stability frameworks such as SRE, ITIL4, Fin
Ops, and Service Quality Index. - Collaborate with engineering and Dev
Ops teams to enhance observability, monitoring, and automation using Dynatrace, Ansible, Service
Now, Elastic, and other tools. - Define and track key stability indicators (MTTR, MTTD, SLA compliance, recurring incident reduction, etc. ).
- Develop data‑driven dashboards and reports for ongoing visibility and trend analysis.
- Coordinate post‑incident reviews and ensure follow‑up on systemic remediation actions.
- Act as the main point of contact for all Stability Program activities across IT Production and Business Lines.
- Report progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership, showcasing business impact and ROI.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Ensure all stability initiatives comply with IT risk, security, and regulatory standards (SOX, PCI‑DSS, GDPR, etc. ).
- Support managers and engineers in adopting best practices through training, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of new tools, processes, and behaviors.
Technical Requirements
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT Production / Application Support, including 3+ years in program or project management.
- Preferred certifications: ITIL v4, PMP/PRINCE2, SRE Foundation, Fin
Ops Practitioner. - Strong understanding of IT Production / Application Support environments, ITIL4, SRE, Dev
Ops, and Fin
Ops frameworks. - Hands‑on experience with monitoring, observability, and automation tools (Dynatrace, Service
Now, Ansible, Grafana, ELK). - Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, RHEL).
