Project Director – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Director specialized in M&A to lead and coordinate merger and acquisition initiatives. This role is critical to driving the successful execution of complex transactions, from due diligence to integration, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end M&A projects, including target identification, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and post‑merger integration.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including legal, finance, HR, operations, and external advisors.
• Conduct strategic assessments and financial modeling to support decision‑making.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior leadership and board members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record in leading M&A projects, ideally in a multinational or consulting environment.
• 8–10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or strategy consulting.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
