What do you need to be SMART PMO?

Assign clear ownership for all project activities, ensuring accountability, clarity, and efficient execution.

Track ongoing tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals, rapid identification of deviations, and timely corrective action.

Organize regular alignment meetings across workstreams to review completed tasks, upcoming priorities, risks, dependencies, and system availability issues.

Maintain and update the overall project plan, incorporating progress updates, changing priorities, and recovery plans for delayed activities.

Manage all project documentation, ensuring it is organized, current, and accessible to stakeholders.

Prepare concise executive reports and analyze KPIs such as delivery speed, completion rates for epics and tests, bug severity, and testing throughput.
