The candidate’s specific role will work across all aspects of the investment, which may include:
Participate, oversee and drive the execution of key projects (RE development and other initiatives) for the success of the investment;
Participate in and drive the management of the assets, across a wide array of areas (development, legal, marketing, commercial, financial, etc), in coordination with
- house teams, 3rd party service providers and external partners;
Participate and oversee the preparation of investor reports and board memorandums to assist in management decisions and strategic reviews;
Ensure that the responsible parties keep financial information up to date so it can be used as a management tool, including budget execution, business plan updates and treasury forecasts;
Coordinate and mentor analysts engaged in the same projects;
This is a Lisbon-based hybrid role (2 to 3 days per week in the office are expected), occasional trips to Lagos may be necessary.
Profile
Undergraduate and/or master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering preferred, candidates with other qualifications but relevant experience in real estate development may be considered;
4+ years of experience in real estate development asset management or similar fields, with responsibility for the timely, on budget and on quality execution of a business plan;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Power
Point, Word, Outlook);
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking (especially regarding data, assumptions and strategy);
Fluent in English and Portuguese;
Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking;
A high degree of attention to detail and a will to constantly learn and evolve;
Collaborative and open attitude, contributing to a positive culture;
High sense of responsibility, project ownership and ambition to grow into a holistic real estate investment and asset manager.
