The Project Manager for Pathology & Genetics will be responsible for the architecture, management, deployment, and continuous monitoring of projects that drive both innovation and operational improvement across the Pathology and Genetics segments. This role requires strong project management skills to ensure the successful execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory services, processes, and patient care. Understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in laboratory settings will be considered as a plus.
- Design, plan, and execute strategic projects within the Pathology and Genetics areas, while collaborating with
- functional teams to develop clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to meet objectives. Identify potential risks and build strategies to mitigate them to ensure project success; - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with corporate and departmental goals, while applying industry best practices in project management to drive efficiency and quality;
- Identify areas for operational improvements within the pathology and genetics labs, fostering innovation in workflows, technologies, and processes that will go to the pipeline for future implementation:
- Serve as point of contact for key stakeholders, including senior management and department heads in order to provide regular project updates, performance metrics, and status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment;
- Continuously monitor the progress of projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards, while escalating when appropriate;
- Continuously collect feedback from teams and conduct
- project evaluations to assess the success and identify areas for future enhancements.
Perfil:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare, Project Management or a related field;
- Additional certifications in Project Management (e. g. , PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred;
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory setting;
Experience with laboratory operations, particularly in pathology or genetics, is highly desirable; - Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive teams and manage complex projects;
