About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our engineering team and lead the successful delivery of Open ed
X LMS implementations, customizations, and integrations. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will own the

- end project lifecycle for both new client implementations and ongoing initiatives on our
- house LMS platform. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating across engineering, product, sales, and business teams to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary liaison for new B2B clients and customers throughout the project lifecycle
Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders at various levels
Conduct regular status meetings, presentations, and demos to keep stakeholders informed
Manage client expectations and negotiate scope, timelines, and resource allocation
Gather and document client requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications
Project Management

X implementations
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
Coordinate multiple concurrent projects across different client accounts and internal initiatives
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability targets are met
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery
Collaborate with product teams to align client requirements with product roadmap
Partner with sales teams during
- sales activities and proposal development
Coordinate with business teams on commercial aspects and contract management
Facilitate communication and remove blockers across all teams
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including requirements, specifications, and change logs
Provide regular status reports to internal leadership and client stakeholders
Track and report on key project metrics including progress, budget, quality, and risks
Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement
Maintain project artifacts in relevant tools and systems
Agile/Scrum Practices
Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
Manage product backlogs and ensure proper prioritization of user stories
Track sprint velocity and team capacity to support realistic planning
Coach teams on agile best practices and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of project management experience in technology or software development environments
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects from inception to completion
Experience managing B2B client relationships and stakeholder engagement
Experience working with distributed or remote engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with technical and
- technical audiences
Strong
- solving and critical thinking abilities
Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a
- paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent agile certification
PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification
Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Ed
Tech platforms
Experience with LMS integrations (SAML, OAuth, LTI, x
API, etc. )
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and Dev
Ops practices
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project)
Background in technical
- sales or solution architecture
Experience in managing
- level implementations
Technical Knowledge (Good to Have )
Knowledge of API integrations and web services
Familiarity with software deployment processes and version control systems
Understanding of database concepts and data migration strategies
Awareness of security and compliance requirements in educational technology
What You'll Be Working On
New Open ed
X platform implementations for enterprise and B2B clients
Platform customizations including themes, XBlocks, and feature development
Third-party system integrations (SSO, content libraries, proctoring, analytics)
Platform upgrades and migration projects (e. g. , version upgrades from Quince to Sumac)
In-house LMS enhancements and new feature rollouts
Multi-region deployments and localization projects
