Project Manager
SRAM Portugal is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Project Manager to support operational projects and value stream implementations in an industrial environment. This role will play an active part in the planning, coordination, and execution of
- functional projects for a product or a product family (i. e. , a value stream), working closely with Value Stream Leaders, functional teams, and global partners from the project phase through production launch and stabilization.
Responsibilities:
Manage the implementation of industrial and manufacturing process projects, ensuring activities are executed according to the defined plan;
Coordinate project activities across internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and requirements;
Track project progress, identify deviations, and support the definition and implementation of corrective actions;
Contribute to supplier qualification, equipment implementation, and preparation for production
- up;
Support the definition and improvement of material and information flows across the production process;
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain to ensure effective project execution;
Monitor project KPIs and prepare status reports;
Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to process optimization and waste reduction;
Ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and safety policies within project activities.
Requirements:
Minimum B. Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar;
Any additional Project Management Certifications will be considered an advantage;
Experience working with multiple project methodologies (desirable);
Portuguese and English proficiency (written and spoken);
Understanding of the product and its components (desirable);
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities in a
- changing market;
Strong project management skills, including planning, ownership, and
- functional coordination;
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing;
Hands-on attitude and
- solving mindset;
Industry work experience (desirable).
