This Position Reports To

Service Operations Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop skills necessary to kickstart a career in the Service division at ABB. As a trainee, you will be part of a community, participate in training sessions to enhance soft & technical skills, meet project deadlines, and engage in social and
- building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program, you will receive support from the Program Lead.

The work model for this role is: #hybrid.

This role contributes to the Electrification, Service division in Spain. You will support ABB’s business, collaborate with leaders and teams, and contribute to strategic objectives.

Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks assigned by your leader. You will also pursue your career goals through professional development.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Assisting sales, tendering, and project managers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Assisting with claims, customer specifications, and safety standards.
• Creating work plans, budgets, and risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
• Helping customers resolve technical issues remotely and at customer sites.
• Liaising with factories over delivery, design, and technical resolution.

Qualifications For The Role

• Recent bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A growth mindset focused on learning and improvement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and follow through on projects.
