This position reports to:

Service Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop the skills necessary to kickstart a career in the Service division at ABB. As a trainee, you will be part of a community, participating in activities with other trainees, including trainings to enhance soft and technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in social and
- building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program, you will also receive support from the Program Lead.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid.

This role contributes to the Electrification, Service division in Spain. You will support ABB’s businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives.

Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also work towards your career goals through professional development.

You will mainly be responsible for:

• Assisting sales, tendering, and project managers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Assisting with claims, customer specifications, and safety standards.
• Creating and delivering work plans and budgets, including risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
• Helping customers resolve technical issues remotely and at customer sites.
• Liaising with factories over delivery, design, and technical resolution.

Qualifications for the role include:

• Recent bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan well and follow through to project completion.
