The team
You will be a member of the Chief of Staff Operations team responsible for project management within the Operations department, strategic project of clients onboarding on our core banking system, as well as supervision and monitoring of various transversal activities and key indicators for Senior Management. The team is in direct contact with external clients as well as third parties such as custodians. The role will be based in Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Dom João II 43, 1990-084 Lisboa, Portugal).
Your responsibilities
In the context of significant growth in back‑office services driven by onboarding projects, mergers, and BPO activities, it is essential to have individuals responsible for the coordination and monitoring of these projects within the scope of Operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring internal and external projects within the Operations Department. He/she will actively participate in cross‑functional activities relating to Operations. The Project Manager will carry out these duties under the supervision of the Head of the COO team.
Key tasks include:
- Onboarding and offboarding projects
- Overall project monitoring including annual review, planning, tracking of progress, and the impacted resources
- Monitoring of operational activities: statistics, dashboards, activity reports
- Supervision and coordination with the various Operations services
- Monitoring of operational risk
- Coordination with Management Control team to ensure proper invoicing of department services
- Organization, coordination, and facilitation of meetings within the Operations Department
- Preparation and update of department documentation (various presentations), as well as supervision of updates to Operations Directives and Procedures
