Ginjo Construction is supporting a major data centre programme in Sines, Portugal. We are looking for an experienced Project Planner who can join the project from January 2026 and support monthly programme updates, reporting, and planning controls alongside the client’s
- house team.
This is a
- term assignment, so the ideal candidate will be able to relocate to Portugal for the duration of the project . Candidates from the UK or wider Europe are welcome, as long as they have the right to work in the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
You will play a key role in maintaining and updating the programme each month, supporting progress measurement, forecasting, and reporting for a large data centre development. The role requires proven experience with Primavera P6 and solid understanding of data centre construction phases.
The role reports into the client’s project controls team, working from the Sines site.
- Update the integrated baseline schedule in Primavera P6 on a monthly cycle
- Collect progress data from site teams and convert it into accurate programme updates
- Support progress measurement,
- aheads, critical path reviews, and schedule risk observations - Attend coordination and planning meetings with the client and contractor teams
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and progress summaries for senior management
- Assist with planning logic, sequencing, resourcing, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure programme integrity and compliance with project governance
- Maintain organised planning records for audit and client reporting
Required Experience:
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6
- Previous experience as a Planner or Planning Engineer on construction projects
- Data centre experience is essential (hyperscale preferred)
- Understanding of MEP-heavy,
- track environments - Experience working with international teams is beneficial
- Able to work from Lisbon and travel to Sines as required
- Right to work in the EU
