Property Inspector (Civil Engineering / Architecture) | Part-Time
A proptech company transforming the Real Estate market in Portugal is seeking a motivated and
- oriented recent graduate in Civil Engineering or Architecture to join our technical team as a Junior Property Inspector. You will be the "eyes on the ground, " conducting technical inspections of residential and commercial properties, and providing detailed reports that power our AI platform.
Portuguese and English is a Must.
Interviews to be held on September 15 in Lisbon.
What You'll Do (Main Responsibilities)
- Conduct
- site technical inspections of residential and commercial properties across various regions of Portugal. - Assess key property components, including structural integrity, finishes, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Produce detailed,
- quality inspection reports, complete with photographic evidence and clear technical descriptions. - Verify property compliance with fundamental Portuguese building codes and maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with the senior team, communicating your findings to support our data analysis and valuation processes.
- Uphold high standards for quality and accuracy in every inspection.
Who You Are (Requirements)
- A Recent Graduate or if you want to earn extra money: You have recently obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Technically Minded: You have a foundational understanding of building structures, materials, and systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Bilingual Communicator: You are fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English (minimum B1), with the ability to write technical reports and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Highly Organized: You have strong writing skills and a meticulous,
- oriented approach to documentation. - Independent & Proactive: You thrive working independently in a remote setting and are a proactive, critical thinker who enjoys solving problems.
- Eager to Learn: You are responsible, curious, and excited to build your expertise in the real estate technology sector.
- Mobile: You have the availability and willingness to travel for
- site inspections as scheduled.
Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with Auto
CAD, Revit, or other BIM software. - Previous academic or practical experience writing technical reports.
- A basic understanding of building energy certifications in Portugal.
- A valid driver’s license (Category B).
