In the Valuation department at CBRE Portugal, we are currently looking for a Valuer for the Hotels department .

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The main focus of this position will be analyzing and valuing hotel assets across all segments in Portugal. The valuer will be part of the Iberian Hotels platform but integrated within Portuguese valuation team.

Your key responsibilities:

• Undertaking hotel inspections supervised by a senior member.

• Preparation of valuations reports for both urban hotels and holiday resorts.

• Gathering market information to support your analysis and analyze the performance of all type of hotels.

• Managing instruction timelines and ensuring deadlines.

• Assist in the valuation of other asset classes.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, architecture, finance & law or hotel administration.

• Solid analytical and numerical skills. Confirmed proficiency in use of spread sheets and financial modelling.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in English is a must.

• Strong report writing capabilities.

• Knowledge of the Portuguese hotel industry and hotel real estate market is preferable.

• Understanding of hotel operational fundamentals; previous experience in Hotels is preferable.

• Able to travel within EMEA and Valid driver’s licence.

• Accurate and exceptional attention to data and detail.

• Certified valuer within CMVM and/or RICS would be great
