Proposal Engineer for Power Plant Equipment

About the Role

The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for organizing and participating in internal and external meetings during proposal and execution phases of power plant projects, focusing on spare part topics until final
- over to execution teams.

Location: Portugal, Lisboa, Amadora

Responsibilities include:

• Developing scope of spare parts lists and proposals for domestic and international projects, including cost and margin analysis, bid approval, and handover documentation.
• Processing parts orders and quotes in SAP PD2 and KSP to meet project timelines.
• Managing project handover processes for spare parts to project execution teams.
• Collaborating with global customers and internal partners.

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in project/proposal management in power generation.
• Interest in supporting energy industry initiatives such as productivity, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and energy transition.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and ability to work independently and lead teams.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to different projects, teams, and workload fluctuations.
