About the Role
We are seeking a Publication Agent to join a dynamic team responsible for publishing custom financial indices and supporting related workflows in a fast‑paced financial markets environment. This role operates at the intersection of technology and finance, combining analytical problem‑solving, system management, and close collaboration with front‑office teams.
You will work closely with Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) and other business units to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant publication of cross‑asset indices — covering equities, commodities, and derivatives. The position provides deep exposure to index lifecycle management, data processing, and market infrastructure, making it ideal for professionals with a technical background eager to grow in the financial domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage index publication workflows, ensuring all custom indices and underlying instruments are accurately processed and published on time.
- Investigate and resolve publication issues by identifying root causes, coordinating with multiple technical teams, and ensuring timely remediation.
- Provide end‑to‑end user support for the index lifecycle, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting within internal applications.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to enhance workflow reliability and automation.
- Ensure compliance with publication standards, internal rulebooks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Analyze data and optimize publication processes, contributing to improved system performance and accuracy.
- Document workflows, configurations, and operational procedures, maintaining high standards of clarity and completeness.
Mandatory Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in IT Production, Support, or Operations roles – preferably in a financial or data‑driven environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Excel for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and database management systems.
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring and incident management tools (e. g. , Splunk, Dynatrace, Jira, Camunda).
- Proven ability to analyze technical issues across servers, connectivity, and scripts.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills in complex, time‑sensitive environments.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Background or familiarity with financial markets, indices, or market data systems (e. g. , Bloomberg, Reuters, Ubix).
- Experience in workflow automation or data pipeline management.
- Understanding of Spring Boot and microservices architectures.
- Previous experience working in front‑office or trading support environments.
- Knowledge of data quality and control frameworks in financial contexts.
