About the Client

We are supporting one of our clients, a global AI-driven technology department , in expanding its engineering team in Portugal. The team develops scalable,
- grade AI applications built on proprietary machine learning models, with a strong focus on performance, data efficiency, and architectural excellence.

The engineering organization counts 23 engineers across Lisbon and Porto , and about 20 globally (in the UK and Paris).

The Role

We are hiring an experienced Python Developer to join the AI engineering team based in Lisbon .

You’ll play a key role in developing and scaling backend applications that power AI-driven products with real business impact.

This position focuses primarily on backend engineering , contributing to
- performance, distributed systems used by thousands of users worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend applications on top of proprietary AI models.
• Design and develop APIs and services supporting
  - scale synchronous workloads.
• Optimize data structures and memory usage for maximum performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Portugal, the UK, and Paris on AI product development.
• Deliver production-ready applications with measurable business impact.
