We’re looking for a versatile engineer to join our client team, taking

- end ownership of a
- model platform and
- facing APIs. Your mission will be to design scalable data architectures, integrate statistical models directly with the database layer, and deliver
- performance, secure API services.

What you will do

• Design and version Postgre
  SQL / Arctic
  DB schemas for raw, intermediate and final model data.
• Integrate statistical models directly into the database layer using psycopg2, SQLAlchemy or Arctic
  DB native APIs.
• Build and maintain secure,
  - performance Fast
  API/REST APIs.
• Develop internal Python libraries to streamline interaction with internal and external databases.
• Optimise database performance: query tuning, indexing, partitioning, monitoring and alerting.
• Produce technical documentation, schema diagrams, and enforce best practices in version control.
• Ensure code quality standards through testing, Git workflows, linting and static typing.
