Join Five9 Tools and Monitoring team for an exciting opportunity play a role in maintaining Five9’s Cloud Call Center Services and Application Delivery. The goal of the Tools and Monitoring team is to provide the Cloud Operations team the tools needed to maintain highest possible availability of the Platform. This position requires the coding skills to create applications, automation and monitoring scripts for our internal needs and support already existing apps.
Please note this is a 12 month contract position
Key Responsibilities:
- Create / maintain Python and deploy web applications using Django
- Create / maintain Python scripts that collect monitoring data and provide task automation
- Optimize and refactor existing code
- Work with other engineers to containerize applications to deploy on kubernetes and docker.
- Perform routine maintenance on our various monitoring platforms.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of Python Web development using Django and Asyncio framework
- Advanced knowledge of Git / Gitlab
- Advanced knowledge of setting up Highly Available application using technologies like load balancers nginx/ keepalived
- Knowledge of multithreading concepts
- Good understanding of My
SQL databases - Strong analytical and
- solving skills. - Team player
- Experience operating python applications in docker / Kubernetes
- Experience deploying applications into public cloud
- Development on Uvicorn / Gunicorn
- AWS / GCP experience
- Understand and experience working with messaging systems (Kafka, Redis)

The recruiting function, including systems and processes, for Five9 are driven out of the US office with team members in various satellite offices. It is imperative that individuals responsible for the recruiting out of their respective offices, as well as team members in the United States, have the ability to share information and data. Often, this necessity extends beyond the recruiting team, and includes hiring managers as well.
