As a Senior Software Engineer with a backend focus, you are expected to develop a deep understanding of our domain and contribute scalable, efficient, and reliable solutions to complex engineering challenges.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping system architecture and backend services, ensuring they meet the demands of a growing,
- driven, and
- sensitive environment.

What you'll be getting up to:

• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions that support advanced algorithmic python based applications.
• Define and architect solutions that are structurally sound and align with best practices, ensuring robust integration with
  - driven systems.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate machine learning models and complex algorithms into business driven applications.
• Support and improve existing serverless applications
• Take ownership of code quality, testing, and documentation to maintain high standards and continuous improvement across projects.
• Stay engaged in new technologies
  - specific knowledge, bringing fresh insights and approaches to the team.

Technical Skills:

• 10+ years experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on high throughput distributed systems (backend focused).
• Proven experience in backend development with proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
• Utilise Advanced Technical Stack: Leverage our technical stack, including Python, Fast API, Flask, SQL, Postgre
  SQL, Big
  Query.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and
  - solving, with a clear focus on efficiency and optimization.
• Advanced experience with Postgre
  SQL (stored procedures, functions, views, etc. ).
• Experience with architecting and implementing
  - scale, distributed systems that handle significant data processing.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and No
  SQL) and experience in designing data storage solutions that support large python based solutions.
• Fluent with GCP cloud platform and containerisation tools (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for machine learning model deployment using Gitlab CI.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability
• Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
