Wave is looking for a dynamic person with good communication skills to join our QA Academy in September! If you are based in Lisbon and interested in exploring the Quality Assurance area, this is the right opportunity to build expertise and gain relevant skills.

QA Academy

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Execute tests on source code.
• Develop and maintain existing solutions by monitoring defects and identifying possible modifications.
• Create and maintain documentation for solutions.
• Assist the team during testing and implementation phases.
• Collaborate closely with team members in a supportive environment.
• Analyze test results and report findings to the development team.

Skills

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, PHP, or Python.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to read and understand others' code is a plus.
• Experience with version control tools like GIT is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Innovative, analytical, and
  - solving mindset.
• Proactive, dynamic,
  - motivated, with good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and
  - oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong sense of ethics and responsibility.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
