We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a QA Analyst to support our mission.
This role is based in Porto and open to those who are able to be
- office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team

Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $3. 5 billion directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Trust & Safety team. The Trust & Safety Ops QA Analyst role will support ongoing efforts to improve content moderation, automated detection, and the overall general safety of Patreon's Creators and their community members. This work will be vital in ensuring Patreon can continue to help Creators grow their communities in safe ways and in turn, fund their life through their passions. As Patreon continues to grow, leveraging the skills of an established QA Analyst will be critical to supporting Patreon's mission of giving creators a place to come for creative freedom and ownership from a Trust & Safety lens.
About the Role
- Develop, implement, and refine testing and sampling strategies to ensure enforcement and labeling quality
- Work closely with both internal and external
- functional partners to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify, report, and troubleshoot quality issues across moderation and labeling efforts - Meet volume and quality targets for regular quality assurance audits
- Assist with monitoring and tracking incidents flagged in the QA process to ensure timely resolution
- Assist with the delivering of individual or group feedback or provide coaching sessions to improve analysts or moderators performance
About You
- Excellent analytical,
- solving, and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on complex tasks
- Ability to read and interpret policy and policy process maps accurately
- Fluency in social media platforms and experience within content moderation
- Experience viewing and handling anything that may fall under violative content, such as CSAM, hate speech, misinformation, and adult nudity

The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role's job family. The final offer will be based on candidate's experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon's leveling framework. For remote employees located outside CA and NY, salary may vary based on location and local market conditions.
