We are seeking a QA Android Automation Engineer to support our client's Handscanner teams, which develop Android applications used by drivers and depot operations within the logistics sector. This opportunity is best suited for freelancers or B2B consultants.

⏳ Allocation period: 3 to 6 months (renewable)

? Contract type: Freelance / B2B

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with other QA engineers and Agile development teams
• Automate Robolectric test cases to extend component test coverage
• Review existing test cases and propose improvements
• Prepare and manage test data
• Review and increase E2E automation coverage using Appium
• Test case reporting, monitoring, and results analysis
• Bug reporting and
  - cause analysis
• Support the team in achieving product and delivery goals

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of test methodologies (ISTQB Advanced Level is a plus)
• Proven experience testing Android applications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile test automation
• Hands-on experience with Robolectric and Appium
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation
• Knowledge of Kotlin
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Background in the logistics domain is a strong advantage

Additional Information

• If you live more than 100km from the office, there is flexibility to negotiate 1
  - site visit per month
• Mandatory requirement: The candidate must be a Portuguese permanent resident for at least 6 months
