Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid project based in Lisbon or Porto (2x/week).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a focus on leading testing efforts in complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e. g. , JIRA)
• Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs to effectively validate applications.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev
  Ops practices. (Plus)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust testing frameworks and strategies to assess product quality across various stages of the development lifecycle.
• Lead the creation, review, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, ensuring full coverage of functional and
  - functional requirements.
• Identify and track defects, working collaboratively with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, promoting proactive quality measures.
• Mentor junior quality analysts, guiding them in best practices for testing methodologies and fostering their professional development.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear testable objectives.
• Drive the adoption of automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to enhance testing efficiency.
