Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid project based in Lisbon or Porto (2x/week).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a focus on leading testing efforts in complex software projects.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e. g. , JIRA)
- Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs to effectively validate applications.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev
Ops practices. (Plus)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust testing frameworks and strategies to assess product quality across various stages of the development lifecycle.
- Lead the creation, review, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, ensuring full coverage of functional and
- functional requirements. - Identify and track defects, working collaboratively with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, promoting proactive quality measures.
- Mentor junior quality analysts, guiding them in best practices for testing methodologies and fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear testable objectives.
- Drive the adoption of automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to enhance testing efficiency.
