QA Automation Engineer
About the Role
As a QA Engineer at ISS, you’ll be the person making sure our digital solutions are fast, reliable, and built to last. You’ll design and improve automated test frameworks, ideally with Playwright, to help our teams catch issues early and ship with confidence. Your work will have a real impact: every test you build helps us deliver new features faster, prevent problems before they reach users, and keep our platforms running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks covering functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Embed quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure no release reaches production without passing defined acceptance and reliability criteria.
- Define test approaches for complex features and integrations, ensuring alignment with business needs and
- grade standards. - Work closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria, while coaching the team on best practices in testing and quality.
- Identify critical issues, usability concerns, and edge cases beyond scripted tests, reducing risks of
- severity incidents in production. - Maintain
- quality documentation of test processes, defects, and outcomes, ensuring traceability and compliance with internal and client requirements. - Act as the voice of quality in the team, influencing design and implementation decisions to ensure
- term maintainability and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation and CI/CD integration.
- Extensive experience leading the design and implementation of advanced automated testing strategies for
- scale digital platforms. - Deep expertise in Playwright (preferred) or equivalent

- art automation frameworks, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable test suites. - Strong background in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, driving continuous quality improvements across the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems, identify critical risks, and deliver clear, actionable insights to engineering and product leadership.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills, with a passion for elevating quality standards and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
