Introduction & Summary

The Test Automation Engineer (TAE) role is vital for enhancing testing efficiency within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in automated test scripting, particularly using Selenium Web Driver and Cucumber. A proactive approach to integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and a commitment to mentoring junior team members are essential.

Main Responsibilities

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Implementing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Executing automated test suites and analyzing results.
• Staying current with industry trends in automated testing.
• Mentoring junior team members on automation practices.
• Creating and maintaining utility tools for the testing environment.

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of designing and creating test automation using Selenium and Cucumber (BDD framework).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium Webdriver and Cucumber.
• Strong Java-based test automation skills for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of other test automation tools for API, mobile, and
  - banking is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (4/5); knowledge of French is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with banking concepts.
• Basic understanding of additional automation tools.

Other Details

This position offers a standard
- time schedule of 09:00 - 18:00 with no
- call requirements.

Required 2x time a week at the office - in Lisbon.

The role may require interactions with various business units and IT teams.
